Paladin releases new craft beer

AUSTINTOWN

Paladin Brewing in Austintown recently released another locally brewed craft beer titled “Cancer Sucks ESB.”

The release comes on the one-year anniversary of surgery to remove an aggressive form of cancer from owner and brewer John Chandler’s body.

Cancer Sucks ESB is an extra-special bitter beer with a strong malty background that has a pronounced bitterness to lead the way to a medium body showcasing the aromas of hop, fruit and a hint of fine tobacco from English hops.

Paladin Brewing opened in August 2015 at 6520 Mahoning Ave. The brewery features a tasting tavern where patrons can sample 13 locally brewed beers by the glass or in a flight.
