Rotary hosts YSU Trustee Carole Weimer

SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Kevin Freisen, past Struthers Rotary president, hosted Carole S. Weimer, Youngstown State University trustee, at a meeting June 21. Weimer is a retired special education teacher who has taught at many local schools, and now serves as a board member for many local organizations and events. Her term as a YSU trustee ends in 2017. She discussed Jim Tressel’s presidency at YSU, focusing on the community participation he has generated and how he has increased monetary and participatory support for the university.
