SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR William Farragher, retired communications director for Youngstown Sheet and Tube, was the guest speaker for Austintown Rotary on July 25. Farragher discussed the circumstances leading to his appointment as project manager of the 630-feet tall Gateway Arch monument in St. Louis during its construction between February 1963 and October 1965. He successfully maintained his full-time executive status with Youngstown Sheet and Tube while he worked on the monument. From left, are Farragher, and Edward Kalaher, rotary president.
