CLINTON YOUNGSTOWN VISIT | At least 1,600 waiting to hear Clinton at East

YOUNGSTOWN - The city fire department estimates there are about 1,200 people inside the East High School gymnasium and about 400 in an overflow area for the Hillary Clinton rally.

The event was to start at 7:45 p.m. after the campaign for the Democratic presidential nominee pushed it back from a 7:15 p.m. starting time.

The fire marshal earlier stopped allowing people inside the gym.

As of 9 p.m., the event hadn't started. Clinton has run behind schedule all day today. Youngstown is the final stop today. She was also in Johnstown and Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania.

Today was the second of a three-day tour of Pennsylvania and Ohio, two key presidential swing states. A stop Sunday in Cleveland was canceled with only Columbus on the schedule for that day.

Joining Clinton on the bus tour is U.S. Sen. Tim Kaine of Virginia, her vice presidential running mate; her husband Bill, a former president; and Anne Holton, Kaine's wife.

Clinton is discussing her vision for an improved American economy on this bus tour.
