July 13

Theft: Police arrested Joshua Kosa, 33, of South Bailey Road, North Jackson for theft of steaks from Giant Eagle, 525 E. Main St.

July 15

Possession of drugs: Police arrested Hollie Reese, 26, of East Liverpool on a charge of possession of dangerous drugs.

July 18

Drug abuse: Police arrested Kevin Curtis, 22, of Goshen Road, Salem, on a drug abuse charge.

Warrant: Police arrested Brandon Bennett, 32, of Atlanta Avenue, Austintown, on a warrant for failure to appear in Canfield Mayor’s Court.

July 21

Drug abuse, theft: Police arrested Eric Whisel, 22, of Lundy Avenue, Salem, on a drug-abuse charge and on a warrant for theft.

July 23

Arrest: Police arrested Devan Eutin, 25, of Hadley, Pa., on a charge of drug possession.

July 24

Drug abuse: Police arrested Brian Dimarzo, 46, of Canton on charges of drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia.

July 18

Recovered property: A woman’s wallet was recovered at Real Cinema,6020 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: A television was taken at a home in the 200 block of North Yorkshire Boulevard.

Warrant: Police arrested Ryan Davis, 26, of Compass West on a warrant for domestic violence.

Warrant: Police arrested Brian Schiavo, 34, of Mulberry Run, Mineral Ridge on a warrant charging him with inducing panic, possession of drug paraphernalia, drug abuse of heroin, and possession of drug-abuse instruments.

Criminal trespassing: Police arrested John Grozer, 54, homeless, on a charge of criminal trespassing at the Austintown Plaza, 6000 Mahoning Ave.

Identity theft: Personal information was accessed from a home in the 4000 block of Signature Circle.

Theft: A micro USB charger was stolen from an auto parked at a home in the 4000 block of Patricia Avenue.

Theft by deception: $1,650 in cash was stolen from Citizens Financial, 5464 Mahoning Ave.

July 19

Criminal damaging: Dominic Fusillo,18, of Overlook Avenue, Youngstown, Devin White,18, also of Overlook, and Edward Ragon, 18, of Orkney Avenue Austintown are all charged with criminal damaging and endangering after driving up and down Birch Trace Drive and shooting cars with pellet guns.

Theft: Unlisted items were stolen from an apartment in the 50 block of Westminster Avenue.

Criminal damaging: Damage to rear windows of vehicles with BB pellets was reported at two homes in the 3000 block of Burkey Road.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle’s side window was damaged by a BB pellets at Noday’s Auto Sales,1381 S. Raccoon Road.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle’s side and rear windows were damaged with BB pellets at Raccoon Auto Group,1209 S. Raccoon Road.

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Dameon Little, 38, of Manchester Ave., Youngstown on a charge of possession of marijuana.

Telecommunications harassment: Harassment via telephone was reported at a home in the 5000 block of Madrid Drive.

Identity theft: Personal information was used to try to open multiple accounts for the homeowner in the 5000 block of Colgate Drive.

Criminal damaging: A vehicle’s windows were damaged in the 1000 block of Kerrybrook apartments on South Raccoon Road.

Passing bad checks: A bad check for $2,154.12 was passed at California Palms, 1051 N. Canfield-Niles Road.

Theft: A mailbox was stolen from a home in the 4000 block of Kirk Road.

Recovered property: Keys were recovered at Austintown Township Park, 6000 Kirk Road.

Extortion: A victim told police he was being extorted over a nude video he sent to an apartment dweller in the 1000 block of Fountain Square Drive.

July 20

Theft: There is a suspect in a theft at Kmart, 4415 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal damaging: Damage to a vehicle’s door from a BB pellet was reported at a home in the 2000 block of Birch Trace Drive.

Telecommunications harassment: Unwanted text messages were reported at a home in the 6000 block of Winterpark Avenue.

Drug offense: Pills were located at South Raccoon Road and New roads.

Theft: A bicycle was stolen and then recovered at a home in the 2000 block of Bainbridge Street.

July 21

Warrant: Police arrested Aaron Barnhart, 45, of Church Hill Road, Girard, on a warrant for disorderly conduct and failure to comply.

Theft: A bicycle was stolen and then recovered at a home in the 2000 block of Bainbridge Street.

Warrant: Police arrested William Slater, 54, of Mahoning Avenue, on a warrant for domestic violence.

Criminal damaging: A windshield was broken on a vehicle parked at the Budapest Inn, 3780 Mahoning Ave.

Theft: $200 was taken from a wallet left in vehicle parked at a home in the 6000 block of Kirk Road.

July 22

Telecommunications harassment: There is a suspect in telecommunications harassment reported at a home in the 3000 block of Claridge Drive.

July 23

Theft: Kitchen cabinets and appliances were taken from a home in the 5000 block of Tulane Avenue.

Theft: A 32-foot aluminum scaffold plank was stolen from a home in the 2000 block of Innwood Drive.

Theft: Police charged Chris Aczel, 44, of West Calla Road, Canfield, with taking $3,000 from a person at Hollywood Gaming at Mahoning Valley Race Course, 777 Hollywood Drive.

Menacing by stalking: There is a suspect in a case of stalking at Deer Creek Apartments,4415 Kirk Road.

Warrant: Police arrested Erik Carlson, 28, of Lemont Drive, Poland, on a warrant on a theft charge.
