Man indicted for North Side murder

A Mahoning County grand jury has indicted a man arrested in a July 19 homicide on the city’s North Side.

De’Ondre Gayles, 21, of Lemans Drive, Boardman, faces charges of aggravated murder, murder, attempted murder, two counts of felonious assault with firearm specifications and being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Facing counts of tampering with evidence and obstructing justice is Anthony M. Brown, 22, of Hadley Road in Liberty in connection with the homicide.

Police accuse Gayles of killing Ralph Thomas, 20, of Church Hill Road in Girard. Thomas was found shot to death in his car about 9:50 p.m. July 19 at Dupont and Hammaker streets on the North Side.

Another person was in the car with Thomas but was not injured. Authorities said the shooting happened during a marijuana sale.

Brown, who is not in custody, is charged with hindering the police investigation and apprehension of Gayles, who was arrested July 20 at his home.

Also indicted Thursday by the grand jury on these charges were:

Tabitha Lee, 28, East Boston Avenue, failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer, vehicular assault, four counts of endangering children and obstructing official business.

Andrew Brewer, 30, North Bon Air Avenue, possession of cocaine.

James Davis Jr., 53, Southern Boulevard, possession of heroin with a forfeiture specification, two counts of possession of drugs and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia.

David Hahn, 51, Prospect Street, Struthers, aggravated robbery.

Kathleen Mascarella, 30, 16th Street, Campbell, burglary and theft.

Ronald Gilbert, 40, West Judson Avenue, possession of heroin and possession of cocaine with forfeiture specifications.

Michael J. Stevenson, 33, North Portland Avenue, burglary.

Eric Viera, 31, Manhattan Avenue, obstructing official business and possession of marijuana with a forfeiture specification.

Mark Moore Sr., 50, Springfield Road, Poland, possession of cocaine.

Joseph Solomon, 26, East Judson Avenue, possession of drugs.

Michael F. Seidita, 25, West Wood Street, Lowellville, three counts of misuse of credit cards and two counts of theft.

Alexander Rotz-Shafer, 31, West Boulevard, Boardman, corrupting another with drugs.

Ishia Milledge, 30, Fairmont Avenue, theft.

Kintrell Disher, 23, Crandall Avenue, assault and misdemeanor resisting arrest.

Jamie D. Ingledue, 34, Diagonal Road, Salem, possession of cocaine and endangering children.

Angela M. Cambert, 37, Ohltown-McDonald Road, Mineral Ridge, possession of cocaine, possessing criminal tools and promoting prostitution.

Earl S. Marlowe, 26, Plazaview Court, aggravated robbery, improperly discharging a firearm at or into a habitation with firearm specifications, being a felon in possession of a firearm and possessing a defaced firearm.

Tavon M. Fulton, 21, Liberty Road, aggravated robbery, improperly discharging a firearm at or into a habitation with firearm specifications, being a felon in possession of a firearm and possessing a defaced firearm.

Jason Negron, 25, Maitland, Fla., possession of marijuana and aggravated possession of drugs with forfeiture specifications.
