Boardman Park hosts family events

Boardman Park would like to invite local families join them for a free, fun-filled family event July 30 at the Maag Outdoor Theatre.

Bring lawn chairs and blankets, concessions are available.

Beginning at 6 p.m., there will be a children’s bouncer, Jocko-the Balloon Man, hay rides and more. From 6:30-8 p.m. you can relax, dance or sing along as you enjoy the music of the Classic Cruisers. At 8:15 p.m., David the Great will entertain you with a magnificent show. At dark, enjoy the Disney animated movie, “Cars.”

If you enjoy camping, then start packing up your tents and sleeping bags for a night of fun under the stars in the Green Oasis. The Family Camp Out in the Park is an extension of the Family Night on July 30, beginning at 6 p.m., through July 31 at 9 a.m.

Enjoy the events at the Family Night and then get ready for a campfire and s’mores. Continental breakfast will be provided on Sunday. The registration fee for the camp out is $7 per family.
