Dog warden probes poodle death in Boardman

The Mahoning County Dog Warden's office is investigating a dead dog found at its owner's residence Wednesday.

The dog's owner said the body of their 10-year-old poodle was found at their residence on Euclid Boulevard at 3:30 p.m. The owner's daughter said she saw what looked like their neighbor's dog attacking the poodle 10 minutes earlier and called the police.

The neighbor said his dog was in the fenced area of his backyard during that time.
