Ankle and Foot centers plan golf benefit

Ankle and Foot Care Centers are planning their 18th annual Diabetes Golf Benefit, a four-person scramble, Aug. 19 at Pine Lakes Golf Club, 6233 W. Liberty St. Sign-in will be at 9:30 a.m. and the shotgun start at 10:30. The fee is $100 per golfer and includes 18 holes of golf, lunch and dinner, beverages on the course, merchandise prizes and skill contests.

Registration deadline is Aug. 5. There also are opportunities to support the event through hole and corporate sponsorships. Those interested should call Michael Vallas at 330-629-8800.

The tournament raises money for local diabetes education, resources and support, through Ankle and Foot Care Centers and the Diabetes Partnership of the Mahoning Valley.
