Youngstown woman faces OVI charge after arrest in Boardman

BOARDMAN — A Youngstown woman faces a charge of operating a vehicle while impaired for an incident reported Tuesday afternoon at a Residence Inn on Tiffany Boulevard South.

Amber Johnson, 30, of Wellington Avenue, reportedly collided with a parked car in the hotel’s parking lot. When police arrived, they noticed her slowed speech and unsteady walking. Officers conducted a sobriety field test, which she failed.

She was arrested on the OVI charge and brought to the department for testing her blood-alcohol content.
