PHILADELPHIA

U.S. Rep. Tim Ryan of Howland, D-13th, will address the Democratic National Convention on Thursday, the last day of the event.

Ryan, a convention delegate for Hillary Clinton, was among the first members of Congress to publicly support the Democratic presidential nominee.

Meanwhile, U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown, a Democrat from Cleveland who was on Clinton’s short list for vice president, had a prime-time spot today. He was originally scheduled to address the delegates right before Biden. But Brown’s speech was canceled to allow Biden speak at 9 p.m. Brown will speak Thursday.
