Police are searching for a man wanted in an armed robbery Saturday at Instant Cash for Gold and Diamonds on Belmont Avenue.
A man entered the business about 11:45 a.m., brandished a gun and demanded money. The man, who had his left arm in a sling, took an undisclosed amount before fleeing south on foot along Belmont.
Police describe the suspect as a white male wearing a red baseball cap, white shirt, blue jeans and white and black shoes. The police department’s Facebook page includes surveillance photos of the suspect. Call 330-539-9830 or message the Liberty Police Department on Facebook with any information. The parade starts at 4:30 p.m. by the fire station at Madison Avenue and Elm Street.

Woman arraigned

Cheyenne W. Massey, 20, of Knowlton Road in Garrettsville, was arraigned Monday in Warren Municipal Court after being arrested Friday on a warrant charging her with a July 17 burglary at the Riverview Motel, 3060 Parkman Road NW, that was captured on video.
Massey and Derek R. Ward, 30, of Norwalk, are both charged with breaking into the living quarters of the motel manager while he was cleaning rooms. The manager said Massey and Ward were staying at the motel and gave their identification while checking in.
Video shows Ward entering the office and taking about $300 from the safe while Massey watched. A not-guilty plea was entered for Massey, and she remains in the jail. A warrant for Ward has been issued, but he is not in custody.
Man assaulted
WARREN
A Garrettsville man, 21, was treated at ValleyCare Trumbull Memorial Hospital on Saturday after reportedly being assaulted about 3 a.m. in the city.
The man told police he stopped at a traffic light on High Street. “The next thing he remembers is being on the ground covered in his own blood,” a report said. The man said he did not remember anything about the incident.
The man drove to the Speedway in Champion Township, where Champion ambulance personnel took him to the hospital.
