Police chief to attend Brownlee Woods meeting

City police Chief Robin Lees and other city officials will be guests of the Brownlee Woods Neighborhood Association, which will gather Thursday at Faith Community Church fellowship hall, 1919 E. Midlothian Blvd. for its monthly meeting.
Refreshments will be served at 6 p.m., and the meeting starts at 6:30 p.m.
Residents of Brownlee Woods are urged to attend and hear a complete explanation of the police department’s Community Police Program, how it is run, the duties of the officers and the role the public plays.
In addition to Lees, Phil Skowron, the community police officer for the 7th Ward, Abigal Beniston from the city’s code-enforcement office, and Councilwoman Basia Adamczak, D-7th, are expected to attend.
Printed information with contact information for the speakers will be available.
If anyone has specific issues to address, prepare those in writing before the meeting, and the organization will make sure they are given to the speakers.
