Oakhill Cemetery tour is Aug. 7

A tour of historic Oak Hill Cemetery, 344 Oak Hill Ave., on the city’s South Side, will be at 2 p.m. Aug. 7. Richard Jones and Steffon Wydell Jones, local historian, will lead the free tour.

In case of rain, the tour will be reset at the same time Aug. 14. The cemetery contains the remains of many Civil War veterans and prominent Mahoning Valley residents. For information, call Jones at 330-259-2091.
