Hubbard boil alert

HUBBARD

Hubbard residents are under a water conservation advisory beginning at 7 a.m. today, and a precautionary boil alert started at 6 p.m. Sunday.

Daniel Livingston, Hubbard’s service director, says that the measures are necessary as the city repairs a break on its main water transmission line, according to 21 WFMJ-TV, The Vindicator’s broadcast partner.

Although the alert is precautionary, Hubbard residents are asked to boil their water for one minute before drinking, cooking, or brushing teeth with it. The alert will last until lab testing confirms that the water is safe to consume, officials said.
