DNC CONVENTION | First lady Michelle Obama says Clinton is most qualified to be president

PHILADELPHIA — First lady Michelle Obama said there is only one person truly qualified to be president of the United States, "and that person is our friend Hillary Clinton."

She said tonight she trusts Hillary to lead the country because of her longstanding concern for children and how she has raised her own daughter, Chelsea.

"What I admire most about Hillary is she never buckles under pressure, and she has never quit on anything in her life," Obama said.

She said Clinton understands that being president means working hard to make things better for our kids.

"In this election, we can't afford to be tired, frustrated or cynical. Between now and November, we need to do what we did eight years ago and four years ago. We need to get out every vote. We need to get to work," to elect Hillary Clinton president of the United States.
