Charles and Carol Garris of Mineral Ridge are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Megan Garris of Cincinnati, to Joshua Pielage of Milford, Ohio. The prospective groom’s parents are James and Debbie Pielage, also of Milford.

A private ceremony is planned for Sept. 3 in Cincinnati.

The bride-elect has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Akron and master’s degrees from Kent State University and Cincinnati Christian University. She works as an assistant director of growth and healing at Vineyard Cincinnati.

Mr. Pielage attended the University of Cincinnati and works for Holland Trucking in Cincinnati.
