Assion-Maiorana wedding date set for September 3

SALVATORE MAIORANA AND JESSICA ASSION

Salvatore Maiorana and Jessica Assion are engaged and have scheduled a private ceremony for 1 p.m. on Sept. 3 at St. Angela Merici Church, Youngstown. An evening reception will be at Mr. Anthony’s Banquet Center in Boardman.

The parents of the bride-elect are Mary Beth and John Stride of Poland and Miles and Angel Assion of Youngstown. The parents of the prospective groom are Nicholas and Linda Maiorana of Alexandria, Va., formerly of Canfield.

The future bride earned a doctor of pharmacy degree from Duquesne University and is a pharmacy manager for CVS Pharmacy at Target.

Mr. Maiorana earned a bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Akron and a master’s degree in educational technology from Cleveland State University. He teaches science at Kenston High School in Chagrin Falls, Ohio.
