Hitchcock Woods Early Learning Center earns state award
SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Hitchcock Woods Early Learning Center in Boardman earned its second Step Up to Quality Achievement Award from the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. The award is a five-star quality rating which recognizes and promotes learning and development programs that meet quality program standards which exceed licensing health and safety regulations. Staff members at Hitchcock Woods celebrating the award, from left, are Abbey Loree, Pattie Welsh, Nancy Meenachan and Betty Cmil. The Center also is hosting a “Finding Dory” themed family fun day 1 to 5 p.m. July 31. There will be a book reading, activities, treat bags, a coloring contest and refreshments.
