Power outages reported throughout the Valley

YOUNGSTOWN — Numerous areas throughout the Mahoning Valley are experiencing power outages, according to Ohio Edison’s website.

One cluster of outages in the Boardman area, south of U.S. Route 224 and east of Glenwood Avenue, reportedly is affecting between 21 and 100 customers. Power is expected to be restored there by 12 p.m.

A similar-sized group in the Austintown area, near Webb Road, is awaiting a repair crew, according to Ohio Edison. Power there also is expected to be back on by 12 p.m.

Several outages also were reported in Trumbull County.

Ohio Edison also is estimating a 12 p.m. repair time there.
