Hubbard issues water-conservation notice beginning Monday

HUBBARD — The city has issued a water-conservation advisory beginning at 7 a.m. Monday.

Water users are urged to refrain from unnecessary usage if possible. The city is repairing a water break on its main water transmission line. Updates will be issued as they become available.

There will also be a precautionary boil advisory beginning 6 p.m. the same day, until samples confirm the water is safe to drink.

It is recommended that water be boiled for one minute and allowed to cool before drinking, use in cooking or brushing teeth.
