Twenty-two 2016 Canfield High School graduates, dressed in caps and gowns, went back to elementary school on June 6. The day after their graduation, the students visited Hilltop Elementary School and C.H. Campbell Elementary School to participate in a Clap Out from the elementary students.

The graduates took the time to model their hard work and success to elementary students and showed the students what hard work looks like in the end. The students lined the halls of their schools, and while the graduates walked the halls, the young students bid a final farewell to the graduates with a Clap Out.

“This is the first time we are doing this, and we are excited for the youngsters to see the students in caps and gowns walk the halls where it all began with Cardinal pride,” Canfield Local School Superintendent Alex Geordan said.
