Youngstown woman said she was shot at Wednesday night

YOUNGSTOWN — A woman in the 300 block of East Boston Avenue on the South Side told police a man she was arguing with about 9:15 p.m. Wednesday fired a shot at her but missed.

The 18-year-old woman told officers she was arguing with a man who punched and choked her and took her cellphone. The woman ran outside and the man got in a car and fired a shot as he was inside while driving away.

Police could not the find man Wednesday evening.
