Serbian Day Picnic scheduled for July 31

YOUNGSTOWN

The 84th annual Serbian Day Picnic of Youngstown will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. on July 31 at Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown.

There will be games, musical performances, refreshments and traditional foods for sale.

Some food items available will be chicken paprikash dinners until 1:30 p.m., barbecue lamb and pork, cevapcici (grilled sausages), kielbasa and kraut, Serbian potato salad, rice, strudel and homemade doughnuts.

The Nocne Sove (Night Owls) will perform in the hall until 1:30 p.m., and the Braca Tamburitzan Band will play from 3 to 8 p.m. in the pavilion.
