GOP CONVENTION | Kasich: No regrets skipping RNC proceedings

CLEVELAND - Gov. John Kasich told the Ohio delegation to the Republican National Convention today that "after [what] you saw last night I think you can understand why" he skipped the official proceedings.

While not saying anything specific, Kasich was alluding to U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz, who also unsuccessfully ran for president, being booed when he refused to endorse Donald Trump during his Wednesday speech at the convention.

"I have no regrets in what I have done in my political career," Kasich said.
