Boardman police investigating attempted home burglaries

BOARDMAN — Police are investigating two attempted burglaries reported Wednesday.

The first occurred at a residence on Tod Avenue in the early evening. The victim reportedly returned home to find evidence of an attempt to pry the door open.

The second occurred later that night at a residence on Shields Road. The homeowner returned to find the dead-bolt lock on the door was knocked out of place.
