Homeless man breaks Youngstown police department window
YOUNGSTOWN — Reports said a homeless man Tuesday evening broke the window in the front door of the police department so he could go to jail.
Reports said Clifton Jennings, 53, came to the police department, 116 W. Boardman St. about 8:45 p.m. and told officers he wanted to go jail and that he broke a window at a nearby church and that he wanted to break more windows.
Reports said he walked out of the lobby, then threw a rock through the glass in the door and broke it.
Jennings was taken to the Mahoning County jail on a felony charge of vandalism.
