Dorina Shine gets 4 years in prison

YOUNGSTOWN — A woman convicted in June of running amok at a Boardman restaurant and fracturing a man's skull with a liquor bottle was sentenced today to four years in prison.

Dorina Shine, 47, was given the sentence by Judge Lou D'Apolito in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court on two counts of felonious assault.

Reports said Shine walked into the former TGI Friday's in March 2011 and asked for something to eat because she did not feel well.

When she was told the restaurant does not give away free food, police reports said she became enraged, swearing loudly and fracturing the victim's skull with a liquor bottle and assaulting restaurant employees.
