Youngstown teens arrested for criminal damaging in Austintown

AUSTINTOWN — Authorities arrested three Youngstown teenagers early this morning, who are accused of using a pellet gun to shoot at car windows as well as the mobile home of a police officer.

About 4 a.m., township officers responded to a report of three teenage males shooting at parked vehicles with pellet guns at a Birch Trace Drive address.

Upon arrival, officers found two vehicles in a high-speed chase. The three suspects, driving in a small four-door vehicle, were pursued by an off-duty Brookfield Township police officer, according to a police report.

Both vehicles pulled over, and Dominic Fusillo, Devin White and Edward Ragan, all 18, and all of Youngstown, were arrested for criminal damaging. Police said they admitted shooting vehicles with pellet guns.

The police officer said the men damaged his mobile home by shooting it at least three times, and that he followed the vehicle until APD officers arrived.

The teens were taken to the Mahoning County jail. They are scheduled to appear in Mahoning County Area Court here at 9 a.m. Wednesday.
