Catholic Campaign for Human Development awards grant to ACTION

YOUNGSTOWN — The Catholic Campaign for Human Development of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops has approved a grant of $25,000 to ACTION.

Alliance for Congregational Transformation Influencing Our Neighborhoods will receive the grant in the 2016-2017 CCHD funding cycle.

CCHD is rooted in Jesus’ mission to “bring good news to the poor, release to the captives, sight to the blind and let the oppressed go free.” (Luke 4:18-20)

CCHD carries out its mission by funding hundreds of organizations to fight poverty each year. 

CCHD has approved a grant for ACTION pending compliance with start-up procedures, signing of a grant agreement and fulfillment of any grant conditions.
