Warren man charged with aggravated robbery and kidnapping in Austintown

AUSTINTOWN

A Warren man was arrested after allegedly robbing someone at gunpoint outside a township business.

Jeremiah Allen, 23, of Reo Boulevard, is charged with aggravated robbery and kidnapping for the incident reported Friday, according to a police report.

Allen is accused of holding a gun to a victim's head and stealing $1,100 from them during the course of a "money transaction" they were conducting outside a business on Meridian Road, according to the report.

Allen then reportedly fled in a vehicle with two other people. The vehicle was stopped by police in Youngstown.

Allen was taken to the Mahoning County jail and was incarcerated there without bond.
