OSP cruiser hit by truck on I-80

AUSTINTOWN — An Ohio State Highway Patrol cruiser was struck by a semi-truck this morning on I-80 near the Ohio Turnpike, causing minor injuries to a trooper and to the driver of the semi-truck.

The trooper reported the accident about 8:30 a.m., OSHP reported.

The crash occurred on I-80 westbound, just east of the turnpike.

OSHP is at the scene now.
