Kasich orders Ohio's flags flown at half-staff for slain La. officers


COLUMBUS — Gov. John R. Kasich today ordered all flags be flown at half-staff upon all public buildings and grounds throughout the state until sunset Friday to honor the law-enforcement officers killed in Baton Rouge, La.

Kasich issued the order in accordance with orders from President Barack Obama to fly the flags at half-staff as a mark of respect for the police officers.
