Niles S.C.O.P.E. Senior Center, 14 E. State St., will offer Zumba Gold classes, medium-paced dance exercise designed for senior citizens, at 1:30 p.m. every Thursday. Cost is $1. Contact the center to make an appointment; the center is offering a one-day art class from 1 to 3 p.m. July 26, led by Stephanie from Wonderstruck Art Studio. No experience is necessary. Everyone will paint a summer scene to take home. All supplies will be provided. Students will have a choice of a 16-by-20-inch canvas or an 11-by-17 canvas. The cost is $25. Senior Independence Senior Center of Mahoning County, 1110 Fifth Ave., Youngstown, has planned the following: now through July 29 a rummage sale will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Donations can be dropped off from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Large and small items are welcome but no clothing or televisions. July 29 will be $2 bag day; July 29 there also will be a trip to Mountaineer Racetrack and Casino sponsored by Sunrise Senior Living of Poland. The cost is $30 for members and $35 for nonmembers. The tour will depart the senior center at 8:30 a.m. for Sunrise in Poland where they will meet for breakfast at 9. Bingo and raffles will be played. There will be $25 in free play.
