Lauren Walls and Brett Cubellis are engaged

Lauren Walls and Brett Cubellis, both of Columbus, are engaged and are planning a July 23 wedding.

An open ceremony will take place at 1 p.m. at St. Rose Catholic Church, Girard. Invitations will be issued for a reception to follow at Antone’s Banquet Centre in Boardman.

The parents of the bride-elect are Kenneth and Denise Walls of McDonald. The mother of the prospective groom is Mary Jane Nicastro of Girard.

Miss Walls graduated with a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science from Kent State University. She is self-employed in Columbus.

Mr. Cubellis graduated with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Youngstown State University. He works for Schneider Downs in Columbus as a senior tax accountant.
