Julians were honored for their 60th anniversary

MR. AND MRS. ANTHONY JULIAN
Anthony and Joan Julian of Youngstown were honored for their 60th anniversary at a party July 2 at the home of their daughter and her husband, Lisa and Terry Thomas of Boardman.
Other children and their spouses hosting the event were Mark and Kaye Julian of Massillon, Ohio; Andrew and Elaine Julian of Owings, Md.; Suzanne and Richard Jenkins of Espyville, Pa.; and Lance and Nicole Julian of North Beach, Md.
The Julians have 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The couple were married July 4, 1956, at Immaculate Conception Church, Durham, N.C.
Mrs. Julian is an accomplished pianist and retired as a floral designer in 2006. She also worked as a key punch operator for Republic Steel and worked as a legal secretary.
Mr. Julian retired in 1996. He was employed as director of the Youngstown Office of Consumer Affairs and was a member of the Youngstown Board of Education for 16 years. He is a board member of the selective service draft board.
Mr. and Mrs. Julian are members of St. Charles Parish in Boardman, Rocky Ridge Neighborhood Association and the Brier Hill Italian Scholarship Foundation.
