Hubbard library hosts school-supply drive

HUBBARD

The Hubbard Public Library, 436 W. Liberty St., will collect school supplies from July 25 through Aug. 13.

Supplies will benefit students in need at Hubbard schools.

All patrons who donate will be able to have accrued fines on their Hubbard library account waived as follows: three packaged items for $5 in fines; five packaged items for $10 in fines.

Supplies must be in their original packaging. Accepted supplies are:

3-ring binders (1-inch or 3-inch)

Basic calculators

Colored markers

Colored pencils

Composition notebooks

Crayons (eight-, 16- or 24- count)

Erasers (cap, regular, and jumbo)

Folders (two-pocket and pocket folders with brads)

Glue sticks

Highlighting markers

Loose-leaf paper (college- or wide-ruled)

Pencil boxes/bags

Pens (black, blue, or red)

Rulers

Scissors (blunt-tip and regular)

Spiral notebooks (one-, three- or five- subject)

Tabbed dividers (five-tab or eight-tab)

Tissues
