Coopers celebrate 50th anniversary with vow renewal

AUSTINTOWN

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Cooper Sr. of Austintown, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary July 16 with the renewal of their vows at St. John’s Episcopal Church of Youngstown followed by a dinner at Heck’s Restaurant in Columbiana.

Hosting a picnic for their parents are Michelle Jones (Tony Catalle) of Bridgeport, Ohio; and Charles Jr. and Robin Cooper of Boardman. They have three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The former Patricia A. Kane and Mr. Cooper were married July 16, 1966, at the church.

Mrs. Cooper worked for Workingmen’s Overall Supply and is a homemaker.

Her husband is a U.S. Army Airborne veteran and served in the European Theater. He retired from Copperweld Steel of Warren where he worked for 36 years.
