Sessions at Valley churches

Lists of vacation Bible schools open to the public will be published on the Religion page. Please include the following information: the complete name of the church; address with city or township; time, date and location of sessions; program theme; ages or grades; and whether it’s free or there is a fee. Information should be submitted two weeks before the school’s opening or its registration deadline. The Religion deadline is 5 p.m. Wednesday for publication that Saturday. Box 780, Youngstown, Ohio, 44501-0780. For verification, include a name and phone number of a contact person, which will not be published.

Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2305 S. Canfield-Niles Road (state Route 46), Austintown: “Be Prepared” – features puppets, music, crafts, games, free bookbags and haircuts (by Casal’s) to the first 50 enrollees. July 28-30, (Thursday and Friday, 9-11:30 a.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.). Family closing program Saturday at 11:30 a.m. with a light lunch to follow. Free. Call 330-799-7823 to enroll. The Zion Hill Baptist Church, 220 Jefferson St., Youngstown: “I’ve Got Talent: Showcasing My Work for Jesus,” 6 to 8:30 p.m. July 25-29, donations will be accepted, for children age 3 to 18. Includes classes, refreshments, crafts, recreation and music. Transportation will be provided. Call the church at 330-746-3832.
