CANFIELD

June 30

Identity fraud: A fraudulent Ohio driver’s license was reported to the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles at a home in the 1000 block of Alabaster Avenue.

July 3

Stolen bike: A report of a stolen child’s electric bike was made at a home in the 400 block of Millbrook Street.

July 5

Drug abuse: Police arrested Joshua Weaver, 28, of London Drive, Austintown, on charges of drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Theft: Reported theft of prescription medications, which may have occurred months ago, was made at a home in the 200 block of Callahan Road.

July 6

Drug abuse: Police arrested Ryan Davis, 26, of Applecrest Court, Boardman, on a drug-abuse charge.

Drug abuse: Police arrested Lamar Makle, 26, of Cromwell Street, Youngstown, on a drug-abuse charge.

July 7

Harrassing/unwanted phone calls: Unwanted calls were reported at a home in the 400 block of Janet Drive.

Drug abuse: Police arrested Mary Dippolito, 19, of West Boulevard, Boardman, on charges of drug abuse and drug paraphernalia.

Fraud: A fraudulent scam was reported at a home in the 600 block of West Main Street.

Drug possession: Police arrested Cheyenne Marki,19, of North Pearl Street, Columbiana, on a charge of drug possession.

July 4

Drug offense: Police arrested Jawon Williams, 23, of Compass West Drive on charges of possession of heroin and cocaine, two counts of drug abuse and resisting arrest.

Warrant: Police arrested Eli Mladenoff, 31, of S. Raccoon Road on a warrant for failure to comply with probation and a warrant on traffic charges.

Warrant: Police arrested Anthony Taylor, 35, of Allendale Avenue, on a burglary charge. Police accuse him of the crime at Handyman Hardware, 4351 Kirk Road.

July 5

Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged at a home in the 90 block of Kenmar Court.

Theft: A boy’s bicycle was stolen at Austintown Elementary School, 249 Idaho Road.

Theft by deception: Two counterfeit concert tickets were sold at Walmart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.

Stolen car: A 2003 Pontiac Grand Am was stolen out of the driveway of a home in the 500 block of state Route 46.

Falsification: Police arrested William Fox, 23, of Oakwood Avenue on charges of falsification and resisting arrest.

Theft: An iPhone was stolen at Hollywood Gaming at Mahoning Valley Race Course, 777 Hollywood Drive.

July 6

Warrant: Police arrested Dominic Barbero, 39, of Deer Creek Court on a warrant for failure to appear for forgery and traffic charges.

Drug offense: Police issued a summons to Heather Rice, 19, Lowell Avenue, Youngstown, on a charge of possession of marijuana.

Criminal trespassing: Police arrested Yosuf El-Makdah, 20, of Winthrop Drive on a charge of criminal trespassing.

Theft: A television, PlayStation4 and phone were taken from a home in the 100 block of Roanoke Avenue.

Breaking and entering: Tools were stolen while the business was closed at Y2B Industries, 3805 Henricks Road.

Animal complaint: A dog bite was reported at a home in the 100 block of Westminster Drive.

Lost or stolen property: An Ohio temporary tag was stolen from a car parked in the 3000 block of Nottingham Drive and used in New York.

Unauthorized use: A vehicle was used without authorization at a home in the 100 block of Atlanta Avenue.

Warrant: Police arrested Cierra Miller,25, of Rosewood Lane on a warrant for failure to appear for a traffic violation.

Breaking and entering: A garage was broken into and a saw taken from a home in the 40 block of Kenmar Court.

Theft: An autographed baseball was stolen at the UPS Store, 5547 Mahoning Ave.

July 7

Theft: A coin machine was damaged at Ultra Auto Shine,1432 S. Raccoon Road.

Weapons offense: A bullet was shot into a house in the 200 block of North Yorkshire Boulevard.

Criminal damaging: The Austintown Middle School building, 800 S. Raccoon Road, was spray painted

Fraud: A man’s account was drained over a bad check. The man lives in a home in the 200 block of Paris Drive.

Identity theft: Multiple credit cards were opened in the victim’s name at a home in the 1000 block of Mulberry Run.

Theft: A credit card was taken from a home in the 200 block of Westminster Avenue and used in Warren.

Fraud: Unauthorized credit-card charges were reported by the owner of a home in the 1000 block of Ohltown Road.

Theft: A bank card was taken from an apartment in the 1000 block of Compass West.

Criminal mischief: A basketball backboard and rim were taken from Austintown Community Church, 242 S. Canfield-Niles Road.

July 8

Counterfeit currency: Two counterfeit $50 bills were passed at Kmart, 4475 Mahoning Ave.

Criminal mischief: A fence was damaged at a home in the 5000 block of Stanford Drive.

July 9

Drug overdose/arrest: Richard Aandewiel, 31, East River Road, Newton Falls, was transported to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital for an overdose. Police later charged him with possession of heroin and cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of drug-abuse instruments, possession of marijuana and inducing panic.

Burglary: A man says unidentified people took his prescription of Tramadol from his home in the 200 block of Idlewood Road.

Recovered property: Two Ohio license plates were found in the roadway at Four Mile Run Road and Westminster Drive.

Theft: A woman had jewelry and belongings stolen from a residence in the 100 block of Wilcox Road.

Recovered property: A stolen 2000 Dodge Durango was recovered after being stolen from a home in the 200 block of Carnegie Avenue.

Warrant: Police arrested Michael Johnson, 38, of Tod Lane on a warrant for failure to appear for a hearing on a felonious-assault charge.

July 10

Theft: An Ohio temporary tag was stolen from a vehicle parked at a home in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.

Theft: A male victim had a ring stolen from a bedroom, possibly by a moving crew, at a home in the 5000 block of Cider Mill Crossing.

Aggravated robbery: A male was taken to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital after money and marijuana were stolen from a home in the 500 block of Forest Hill Drive.

Drug offense: Police arrested Woodrow Pallis, 31, of Inwood Drive, on a summons on a charge of possession of marijuana.
