Mackenzie Russell and William Ferrando Jr. were married June 11 at Christ Church Presbyterian. The Rev. Mark Thompson performed the ceremony, and a reception followed at Drake’s Landing in Canfield.

The parents of the bride are April and Larry Russell of Canfield, and the parents of the groom are Barbara Ferrando of Canfield and the late William Michael Ferrando.

Honor attendants were Meghan May and Monique Tomko, and her bridesmaids were Carly Sofranko, Janice Abram, Kyra May, Elise Huzjak, Emily Harmon and Lisa Ferrando, sister of the groom. Ava Tomko served as the flower girl. The attendants wore teal-colored dresses.

The best man was Ben Polen. Groomsmen were Shaun Serich, Brandon Wirtz, Ollie Phillips, Mark Pitzer, Phil Cogar and the bride’s brothers, Mason Russell and Andy Russell. David Bland and Alec Toporcer were the ring bearers.

The bride wore a coffee-champagne colored corded lace and tulle ball gown with an illusion neckline and an ivory sash. It was adorned with beaded embroidery.

The couple traveled to Jamaica for their honeymoon and reside in Canfield.

Mrs. Ferrando graduated from Kent State University with a master’s degree in speech language pathology and works as a speech language pathologist at Blue Sky Therapy in Canfield. Mr. Ferrando graduated from Youngstown State University with an associate degree in allied health and is a lieutenant with the Boardman Fire Department.
