The fourth-grade students at Robinwood Lane Elementary had graduation on June 2 at the school, and received diplomas for completing the fourth-grade.

Principal Don Robinson read off the names of the students in all of the fourth-grade classes. Jan Zorman’s class was first to walk across the stage and receive their diplomas. Zorman stood on the stage and shook each student’s hand as she handed them their diploma. Jeff Hammerton’s class and Jeanette Tamulonis’ class followed after.

After each of the students walked across stage and got their diplomas, they lined up in the back of the gymnasium. Families and friends attended the graduation to cheer on the students.

When the ceremony was over, a photo slideshow was presented to the students and the audience. The pictures showed the different activities the students participated in during their time at Robinwood.

When asked how she felt about finishing the fourth grade and moving on to fifth grade, Savanna Watkins replied, “I’m a big girl! I’m excited for fifth grade.”

The PTA provided cookies and drinks for the students and their guests to have after the ceremony was over. Many of the students got pictures with their teachers before leaving and presented them with an end- of the year gift.

The students and teachers were both happy the school year was coming to an end, but said they will miss the good times at Robinwood they had with each other.
