Woman charged in theft from Macy's

A township woman faces a theft charge for an incident reported at Macy's on Wednesday.

Janice Robbins, 54, of Boardman-Canfield Road, is charged with shoplifting $583.88 worth of Nike brand items from the store in her purse. The store's loss prevention stopped Robbins after she left the store and was arrested when police arrived. She was released on a summons pending a court appearance at the Mahoning County Court today at 5:30 p.m.
