West Side Library building farewell party starts at 4 p.m. today

YOUNGSTOWN — A party to say farewell to the West Side Library building will begin at 4 p.m. today and run until 9 p.m., at the library, 2815 Mahoning Ave.

Admission is $10.

The event includes music by five bands, food and raffles. Guests are asked to bring photos for the memory wall, if they have them.

The building closed in the spring. It will be replaced with a newly built $2.8 million branch on the same site.
