Parish fundraiser set at picnic grounds

VIENNA

Holy Apostles Parish is planning its summer picnic fundraiser Sunday at Strossmayer Picnic Grounds, off Route 193.

An outdoor Mass will begin at 10:30 a.m.

Picnic and ethnic food will be available at noon as well as barbecued lamb and pork, a bake sale and cash bar.

Entertainment will be provided from 12:30 until 6 p.m.

Mikey Dee Polka Band of Pittsburgh will play Hungarian and Croatian favorites beginning at 2.

There will be a parish raffle at 5 p.m. for $2,000 in prize money and a basket auction.

Kids activities and games also will be available.

Admission is $5 for adults and free for children 12 and under.
