BASEBALL

Liberty Township Baseball Association — is putting on an all-star tournament for boys ages 7-8, 9-10, 11-12 (Little League), 11-12 (Cal Ripken) and PONY boys from July 23-Aug. 3. College of Wooster men’s program — still has openings in two remaining sessions of Camp Fighting Scot. The final two sessions are Sunday-Wednesday and July 17-20. FOOTBALL

Jackson-Milton High School — will host a youth soccer camp from Monday-Wednesday for boys and girls entering grades K-8 this fall. The camp will take place at the Jackson-Milton Soccer Field (13910 Mahoning Ave., North Jackson, Ohio 44451). Camp hours are Monday and Tuesday from 9:30 a.m.-noon and Wednesday from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. A $35 registration fee will be charged. For families with multiple children, the fee will be $30 for the first child sibling and $25 for each additional sibling. Players need to bring soccer cleats, shin guards and socks, a soccer ball and a water bottle. Players will receive a Jackson-Milton Soccer Camp T-shirt, a daily snack, a pizza party and will become a member of the JMHS Ball Club. Lady Spartans Fastpitch — will conduct travel tryouts July 26 for 10-U from 5 p.m.-6:30 p.m. and 12-U from 6:30 p.m.-8 p.m., and on July 27 for 16-U from 6 p.m.-7:30 p.m. Tryouts will be open to the public and held at Boardman High School’s softball field.
