Annual Pride Youngstown Festival set for Saturday

YOUNGSTOWN

The eighth annual Pride Youngstown Festival will be Saturday from noon to 9 p.m. on East Federal Street, between Champion and Wick avenues.

Admission is $3. A beer tent will be open all day.

The festival is open to everyone.

Vendors will sell a variety of merchandise and food.

Entertainment starts at noon and includes DJ Kenny Ken from Rookery Radio, MS Dennis Russell, comedian Dana Austin, and the Millennial Theater Company doing songs from “Heathers the Musical.”

Three bands will play throughout the day: Middle Avenue, the Heirs and Last Alive.

Other performers include singer Mona Lotz and comedian Angie Healy.

Mr. and Ms. Pride Youngs-town will start the closing show, which will include many local favorites.
