Disabled vets may be eligible for annual clothing allowance

Service-connected disabled veterans may be eligible for an annual clothing allowance of $777 if their clothing has been damaged by prosthetics or orthopedic devices, such as a wheelchair, or if skin condition medication damages clothes.

To receive benefits, submit Veterans Affairs Form 10-8678, Application for Clothing Allowance, to the prosthetic representative at Louis Stokes Veterans Affairs Medical Center Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center, 10701 East Blvd., Cleveland 44106.
