Bullet found near Hubbard home

Police are investigating after a resident found a bullet near a Viola

Avenue home Thursday. A man told police he returned home from vacation to

find a bullet near the back of his house and a hole in a plate-glass

window. Officers seized a nine-millimeter bullet with casing and

photographed the window. Neighbors told police they did not hear

gunshots, but said there were fireworks going off that week, a police

report states.
