Aerosmith’s Perry doing well after falling ill
NEW YORK
Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry is “doing well” after he walked off a New York City stage during a performance with Johnny Depp and Alice Cooper and was taken to a hospital, a representative said Monday.
Perry became ill around 9:30 p.m. Sunday while performing with the Hollywood Vampires rock group at the Ford Amphitheater in Brooklyn’s Coney Island.
An administrator at Coney Island Hospital confirmed the 65-year-old Perry had undergone tests. Further details were not released.
“Joe Perry is doing well and resting and appreciates all your good wishes,” said the group’s representative, Sujata Murthy.
Liv Tyler gives birth to 3rd child, a girl
Liv Tyler has welcomed her first daughter, Lula Rose Gardner.
The 39-year-old actress posted the news on Instagram on Sunday alongside a picture of the newborn. She writes, “We are sooooo happy,” adding, “heart exploding with love.”
It’s the third child for Tyler and her second with partner David Gardner. Tyler has two sons: 11-year-old Milo and 17-month-old Sailor.
The birth also means a new grandchild for Tyler’s famous father, Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler.
Flea of Chili Peppers autographs Metallica items after mix-up
Red Hot Chili Peppers bass player Flea says he ended up autographing some Metallica items after a mix-up at an airport in Belarus.
Flea has posted a picture on his Instagram account of him signing his name to a Metallica album, a DVD and pictures of the band.
He writes that the Chili Peppers tried to explain to the custom officials who asked for the autographs that they had the wrong band, “but they insisted that we sign anyway.”
Flea says he did play a song with Metallica once, but adds that he’s no Robert Trujillo, Metallica’s bassist.

The singer-songwriter tops Forbes’ annual list of the 100 highest-paid celebrities with $170 million.
Swift is ahead of fellow chart-topping pop stars Adele at No. 9 with $80.5 million, Madonna at No. 12 with $76.5 million, Rihanna at No. 13 with $75 million and Katy Perry at No. 63 with $41 million.
The “Shake It Off” crooner’s star-studded “1989 World Tour” earned more than $200 million last year.
Swift’s DJ ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris landed at No. 21 on the magazine’s list with $63 million.
Other top 10 earners included boy band One Direction at No. 2 with $110 million, actor-comedian Kevin Hart at No. 6 with $87.5 million and self-proclaimed “king of media” Howard Stern at No. 7 with $85 million.
